After the breakup of NotEven, Phil moved to Los Angeles where he started a pop band called Twenty Cent Crush and signed with the tiny label Not Lame Records.
In 1998 the band released a six-song CD titled "Word of Mouth" which showcased Phil's talents as singer-songwriter-guitarist & arranger.
Phil also wrote and sang the final theme song to "Boy Meets World", a Disney/ABC television program. The song was performed by the full band and was used for seasons five through seven (1997-1999) of the popular show.
In 2002, the band was asked to perform the song Taxman for the CD "He Was Fab - A Loving Tribute to George Harrison."
Twenty Cent Crush still performs on occasion, including a recent gig at the Silverlake Lounge in Los Angeles CA. If we're lucky they will announce another show soon!
